红霉素是由链霉素Stretomyceserythreus所产生,是一种碱性抗生素。红霉素对革兰阳性菌,如葡萄球菌、以及流感嗜血杆菌、肺炎链球菌、粪链球菌、梭状芽孢杆菌、螺旋杆菌、百日咳杆菌、拟杆菌白喉杆菌等有抑制作用。本实验采用微生物浊度法测定红霉素及其制剂的效价。红霉素在0.2—0.7单位/m L范围内呈良好的线性关系。平均回收率为99.2%。本法简便、重现性好、回收率高,可用于红霉素及其制剂的效价测定。
Erythromycin is produced by streptomycin Stretomyceserythreus and is a basic antibiotic. Erythromycin can inhibit Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus faecalis, Clostridium, Helicobacter, Bordetella pertussis, Bacteroides diphtheriae. In this experiment, the titer of erythromycin and its preparation was determined by the method of microbial turbidity. Erythromycin 0.2-0.7 units / m L showed a good linear relationship. The average recovery was 99.2%. This method is simple, reproducible, high recovery, erythromycin and its preparation can be used for the determination of potency.
