英语教学是高职教育教学的重要内容,加强高职英语教学有助于培养学生运用英语获取和处理信息的能力,提升学生的就业能力。当前,高职英语教学中面临着学生基础差、教学模式落后、“双师型”教师缺乏等问题,因而,应通过创新教育理念、强化教学实践环节、加强师资队伍建设等方式,提高高职英语教学质量,以培养更多符合社会需要的应用型人才。
English teaching is an important part of the teaching of higher vocational education. Strengthening English teaching in higher vocational schools helps to train students’ abilities of using English to acquire and process information and enhance their employability. At present, vocational English teaching is facing problems such as poor students ’foundation, backward teaching mode, and lack of teachers of “double-teacher type.” Therefore, we should improve education by innovating education concept, strengthening teaching practice and strengthening teachers’ construction Higher Vocational English Teaching Quality to Train More Applied Talents that Meet the Needs of Society.
