作为 2 0世纪中国文坛的两大显学——红学、鲁学 ,衍生了诸多带有时代烙印的论著。本文以著名文艺理论家、美学家、红学家王朝闻《论凤姐》为文本个案 ,对其进行了深入而细致的解剖 ,提出了尖锐的批评。指出 ,该论著经不住时间的检验 ,从内容到形式结构都愈来愈暴露出无法掩饰的破绽 ,令人难以接受的瑕疵 :多数章节游离了主题、“到处添花”,把“人物论”与“创作论”混为一谈的方法论 ,将阶级分析方法予以庸俗化运用、将复杂的人简单地予以彻底否定、牵强附会乱扣帽子的认识论……作者认为 ,该书影响了整整一代人 ,对红学界的政治走向、学术探讨、审美观念以及研究方法等方面带来了不少混乱 ,给年轻一代的学者乃至一般的红楼爱好者都作了似是而非的误导。《论凤姐》一书从反面证明当代红学研究急需取得重大突破
