我是一个文化水平较低,教龄又短的民办小学教师。一九五九年二月刚走上工作岗位,便担任了二年级班主任。当时,我跟大队党支部书记说:“我对教书是实竹吹火,一窍不通,还是搞队里的农业生产吧!”党支部书记说:“天下无难事,只怕有心人。现在党需要你把培养祖国新生一代的任务担当起来,作为党的助手——共青团员,便应该大胆地干。有什么困难也不用怕,党会给你撑腰。”得到了党的鼓舞,我便毅然地走上教育战线,当上了光荣的民办小学教师。
