Xiao Qianzhong (1883-1944) was a painter of the Beijing School. He learned landscapepainting in his late years from Gong Xian at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, noted forhis verdant and luxuriant colors. On the occasion of his 60th death anniversary, the authorreviews all his artistic activities and re-evaluates his works.
