The so-called centrifugal atomization, is to take some form of device, the use of centrifugal force to crush the molten metal into granular material. Centrifugal atomization usually includes: rotating disc method, rotating electrode method and rotating crucible method, if the rotating disc method is ancient, then the rotating electrode method and rotating crucible method is a modern centrifugal atomization. The meaning of the rotating electrode method is that the arc occurs between the rotating electrode and the fixed electrode consumable, the consumable electrode melts into a liquid, and the molten metal is crushed under the centrifugal force. Common argon or helium protection. The meaning of the rotary crucible method is as follows: an arc is formed by using a consumable electrode and the rotating water-cooled crucible, the consumable electrode is melted and flows into the rotating crucible, and then the melt is splashed across the crucible wall under the centrifugal force Into a powder, the entire melt atomization process is completed in a closed container and controlled atmosphere.
