Article 21 of the Labor Law stipulates that “the longest probationary period shall not exceed six months”. This is the most basic requirement. However, it is not necessary that the probationary period take six months. The former Ministry of Labor “Circular on the Implementation of Labor Contract Basic Issues” states: "The term of the labor contract
