不论是在北京林业大学读博士,还是在中国农业大学做博士后,我研究的都是梅花。除此之外,我还曾在梅花协会工作了六年。至今虽然未再进行梅花研究工作,但仍是中国花卉协会梅花蜡梅协会的常务理事。可以说我已经与梅花结下了不解之缘。我常在想,百花园中那么多好花、名花,为什么惟独梅花如此受人推崇,而且在各种文学作品中出现的频率最高?依我看来,至少有三点可以为证。一、在长江流域,梅花的花期是二月中旬,此时露地开花的观赏树木仅此一种,而且正值新春佳节;二、梅花不仅
