1982年11月某日,黑龙江省林甸县东兴公马场的刘俊生到别人家去喝酒,尔后又留下打扑克,深夜不归。其妻见丈夫久不归宿,便将熟睡的两岁男孩锁在家里,出门寻夫。她见丈夫正玩得起劲儿,便站在一旁看热闹助兴。可是家中的孩子酣睡中将放在炕沿上的煤油灯碰倒,引着了被子。当刘俊生夫妇归来时,小孩已被活活烧死。二人追悔莫及,只得面壁而泣。
