为了防止抽油杆的整体失效,采用断裂力学的方法研究了螺纹段表面裂纹的扩展规律,用人工模拟不规则曲线表面初始缺陷,从试验和理论两方面研究抽油杆螺纹段表面裂纹形貌.结果表明,无论如何初始化裂纹形状,在裂纹向前扩展中,裂纹立即椭圆化,其形状是等离心率的同心椭圆.因此,不管在抽油杆螺纹段不规则曲线表面初始缺陷多么复杂,开始就可以将其处理成部分椭圆形状,从而可简化抽油杆螺纹段表面裂纹剩余寿命的计算.
