长宁区是上海市最早进行“九年一贯制”联体办学的区县之一。1984年,长宁区建青实验学校率先打破传统的招生考试、入学升学制度,实行“就近入学、小学免试直升初中”的“九年一贯制”办学试验。十余年来,这一教育改革创举已显露出勃勃生机,不失为当前由应试教育向素质教育转轨、招生考试制度改革、减轻学生过重课业负担的一条良好路径。早在1985年,邓小平同志就在《全国教育工作会议上的讲话》中指出,影响我国现代化建设进程的关键是劳
Changning District is one of the first districts and counties in Shanghai to carry out the “nine-year consistent system” of joint education. In 1984, the Jianqing Experimental School in Changning District took the lead in breaking the traditional system of enrollment examinations and admissions to schools, and implemented the “nine-year consistent system” of running schools for “nearby enrollment and elementary school exemption from junior high school.” In the past decade or so, this education reform initiative has shown great vitality. It is a good path for the transition from exam-oriented education to quality education, the reform of the enrollment examination system, and the reduction of students’ burden on overwork. As early as 1985, Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointed out in the “Speech at the National Conference on Education Work” that the key to influencing China’s modernization process is labor.
