英语(English)是联合国的工作语言之一,也是事实上的国际交流语言。它已经成为了世界上最广泛的第二语言,大约全世界60%以上的信件都是用英语书写,所以英语无可置疑的成为了一种准国际语言。朗诵和背诵对于环境的依赖性较小,几乎不用受环境影响,教师可以让学生自由安排他的读背时间,学生不仅可以在教室内朗读背诵,也可以在室外完成朗读背诵。朗读和背诵具有机动灵活的特点,它并不需要学生用大量的时间来进行朗读或背诵,学生在自由选择地点的同时还可自由选择时间。所以教师和学生都应该明白考试技能要和口语技能结合在一起,重视考试技能的同时也注重口语上的朗读和背诵,只有两者相得益彰,教师才能培养出一个全能的英语人才。
