Came to sunny California, the United States, Highway 101 and Highway 280 to connect Silicon Valley and Silicon Valley in South Bay, the bus rush is still crowded. Compared to the grand occasion of the network in 2000, there was a lot of bleakness in the Silicon Valley after the decline of the semiconductor industry. The vacant offices were seen everywhere in sunnyvale and other areas, showing the impact of the economic downturn. The electronics ecosystem in Silicon Valley is undergoing major changes in just three years. The first is that it is not easy to get money and start-ups face the challenge of struggling to survive. In addition, the focus of the semiconductor market is shifted to Asia - especially the potentially huge Chinese market , So how to develop the Chinese market has become the primary issue of various manufacturers. Even if the signs of economic decline are still, the focus of semiconductor procurement shift, still unable to cover the light of Silicon Valley. This “close-up garden” specially produced the topic of “Silicon Valley Documentary”. Through experienced journalists, we visited 12 electronics-related manufacturers with core technologies in Silicon Valley of the United States to find out the unviable vitality under the downturn.
