劝诫信是信函的一种,主要是为了劝诫对方改正缺点错误。世界上著名的劝诫信要数1851年11月4日林肯写给他继母儿子约翰斯顿的信。约翰斯顿不愿种庄稼,想把土地卖掉,搬到密苏里去。林肯得知后,就给他写了一封劝诫信。在信中林肯一针见血地指出“如果你想要干活,那么没有一个地方比你现在所在的地方更好了;如果你不想干活,那么你在任何地方都呆不下去。”劝诫信在现实生活中的运用很常见,好的劝诫信能让人迷途知返,能让人动容,能启人深思。现结合案例来谈谈劝诫信的写作要领。
Discipline letter is a letter, mainly to exhort the wrong side to correct defects. The famous letter of exhortation in the world was written by Lincoln to his stepmother Johnston on November 4, 1851. Johnston was reluctant to plant crops and wanted to sell the land and move to Missouri. After Lincoln got it, he wrote a letter of exhortation. In his letter Lincoln pointed out sharply that “If you want to work, there is not a place better than where you are right now; if you do not want to work, you can not afford to stay anywhere.” In real life, the use of very common, good advice letter can make people lost their way, people can move, can enlighten me.
