Wang Xiaofeng was born in February 1941. Director and researcher of the Geomechanics Research Center of Institute of Geomechanics, Ministry of Land and Resources, started to enjoy the special allowance of the state government since 1992 and is currently the member of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee. After graduating from Geology and Geophysics Department of Peking University in 1965, Wang Xiaofeng has been engaged in the basic and applied research work of geomechanics in the Institute of Geomechanics.
