1937年2月,吴先喜率60余名干部、战士从贵溪冷水坑来到光泽柴家区,不幸遭国民党一个团兵力的伏击,壮烈牺牲。 吴先喜祖籍江西省横峰县,是第二次国内革命战争时期闽北红军的主要领导人之一。历任闽北独立团政委、中共铅山县委书记、中共光泽中心县委书记兼西南独立团政委、闽北军分区司令员、闽赣省军区副政委兼闽北独立师政委、第四纵队司令员兼政委、中共抚东分区委书记、抚东军分区司令员兼政委等职。这位骁勇善战的闽北红军司令员离开人世已经整整60年了,闽北人民仍然深深地怀念他。
February 1937, Wu Xianxi rate of more than 60 cadres, soldiers from the Guixi cold pits came to Chaika Chai District, unfortunately, by an ambush of the KMT’s army, died a heroic death. Wu Xianxiu native of Hengfeng County, Jiangxi Province, was the second leader of the Northern Red Army during the Second Revolutionary Civil War. Served as independent commissar of Northern Fujian independence, the Communist Party of China leaders of Qianshan County CPC Committee, secretary of the CPC Guangze Center and independent commissar of Southwest Independent Commissar, commander of the Northern Military District, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces and autonomous regions political commissar of the Independent Political Commissar, fourth column commander Political Commissar, Communist Party of China Fudong sub-district secretary, Commander of the eastern part of the army and Political Commissar. The commander of the Northern Fujian Red Army, a brave and fierce war warrior, has been away for 60 years now and his people in North Fujian still miss him deeply.
