一、阅读理解在高中英语教学中的重要性阅读能力是高中英语教学的主要目标,它是指阅读者从书面语言中获取信息,进行加工编码,获得知识意义的活动过程。在高中阶段的英语教学当中有着举足轻重的地位。首先,阅读可以丰富学生的各种百科知识,包括文化背景知识。随着全球经济一体化的飞速发展,国际交往也日益频繁。英语阅读如中文阅读一样,可以为学生提供国际政治、经济、文化、社会、科技等最新的信息,为学生的英语语言交际能力提供文化前提,以达到用英语进行交际的英语学习目的。
