于旭东,男,汉族,53岁,现任通化市人民检察院副检察长。他意志坚强,铁骨铮铮,8年来,在身患癌症、多次手术的情况下,先后主持查办了47起党员领导干部犯罪案件,为国家挽回经济损失150万元。1993年开展反腐败斗争以来,他直接指挥办理贪污贿赂案件77件,其中大要案34件,挽回经济损失302万元。他严格执法,刚正不阿,在办案中敢于顶住各方压力;他廉洁自律,不徇私情,不谋私利。他曾被授予全国十大杰出检察官、省优秀共产党员标兵称号。
Yu Xudong, male, Han nationality, aged 53, is currently Deputy Prosecutor General of Tonghua Municipal People’s Procuratorate. He has a strong will and an upright iron clam. In the past eight years, with cancer and multiple surgeries, he has chaired and investigated 47 criminal cases of leading cadres in party members and has saved 1.5 million yuan of economic losses for the country. Since launching the fight against corruption in 1993, he has directly directed 77 cases of corruption and bribery, 34 of which have major and minor crimes, and the economic loss has been recovered by 3.02 million yuan. He strictly enforced the law and was upright and honest. He dared to withstand the pressure of all parties in handling the case. He was honest and self-disciplined, neither indulgent nor self-serving. He was awarded the title of Top Ten Outstanding Prosecutor and Provincial Outstanding Communist Party Pioneer.
