At the end of the Proterozoic, the tubular animal fossils, represented by Cloudina, are the earliest recognized mineralized bones in the world and have been found in many parts of the world. However, it is not the only mineralized biological type at that time. More Animal skeletal fossil evidence was found in sediments prior to the Cambrian explosion. In dealing with the fossils of the southern Proterozoic in Southern Shaanxi Province, a large number of different types of tubular fossils (mostly less than 150 μm in diameter) were found, including the short-ended tube with closed end, un-branched tube, Needle-shaped structure and with a variety of branched-style branch pipe body. The genetic relationship of these fossils remains unclear, but they provide us with fossil records of the initial stages of animal evolution and mineralization.
