我区位于四川盆地东北部,嘉陵江中下游,总人口947万多人,其中99％以上是汉族,有少量回族人口。我区以农业为主,农村人口占总人口的93％以上。为摸清南充地区盲目及低视力流行情况,我们于86年6～9月参加了本地区10,418人的盲目及低视力普查,在普查基础上对我区人群中盲目及低视力流行情况作了系统分析,为防盲治盲提供了科学依据。对象及方法根据四川省防治盲领导小组规划的采取分层、随机、整群等比例的方法进行抽
