已攻丝零的件,通常因螺纹中径检验不合格而报废。内螺纹过小时,用重新攻丝的方法来修复零件;当螺纹中经过大时,除了个别允许电镀的零件外,可用下述方法,通过重新攻丝来减小过大的螺纹中径。美国中西部某金属加工厂曾因螺纹量规检查不严而使大量零件报废。一位主任工程师建议用一只控制底径的挤压丝锥重新攻丝。试验时,制造了几只挤压丝锥,其中径在过端螺纹量规中径之上约0.025mm,其控制底径则在产品螺纹最大底径之下约0.025mm。
Parts that have been tapped, usually scrapped due to unqualified thread diameter inspection. When the internal thread is too small, use the method of re-tapping to repair the part; when the thread is large, except for the individual parts that can be electroplated, the following method can be used to reduce the excessive thread diameter by tapping again. A metal processing plant in the Midwestern United States has scrapped a large number of parts due to unsmiling thread gauges. A chief engineer suggested tapping with a squeeze tap that controls the bottom diameter. During the test, several extruded taps were manufactured, the diameter of which was about 0.025 mm above the median diameter of the over-thread gauge and the control under-diameter was about 0.025 mm below the maximum bottom diameter of the product thread.
