电子分选法与常规的选矿方法比较具有某些特殊的优越性:处理的矿石粒度范围较宽(20—200毫米)、效率较高、成本较低。特别是对铀矿石来说,利用常规的选矿方法要获得明显的成功是非常困难的,然而利用电子分选法在铀的分界品位低到0.01%的情况下却能有效地分选粗粒矿石。分选粗粒矿石时,经电子分选除去的废石量可达入选矿石的60—70%。这样就能大大减少加工流程所要处理的矿石量,因而可减少工厂投资,节省破矿、
Electronic sorting has some particular advantages over conventional methods of beneficiation: A wide range of ore sizes are processed (20-200 mm), with higher efficiency and lower costs. Especially for uranium ores, it is very difficult to achieve significant success using conventional beneficiation methods, however, the use of electronic separation methods can effectively classify coarse ores with a uranium cutoff of as low as 0.01% . When sorting coarse-grained ores, the amount of waste rock removed by electron sorting can reach 60-70% of the selected ores.
