受李政道先生之嘱,我为北京’95自由电子激光国际会议作画,并将此献给自由电子激光科学和科学家们.现写几句画外话:一、这些作品的构思只是一种期待与祝愿,因是思想,难以言状.我假想:在历史与当代、东方与西方之间,架设一座科学的桥梁,使之彼此文明相通,岂不为更多的人们造福?我知道李先生是为此实践的,他给我带来了直接的暗示.这张画是这样开始的.后来他给我写了两句诗:汉镜传讯达万里,电子激光集须弥.
As directed by Mr. Li Zhengdao, I paint for the Beijing International Conference on Free Electron Beams and will dedicate this to the free electron laser science and scientists.
