“奥地利新抽象绘画展”由中华人民共和国文化部和奥地利联邦总理府共同主办,由维也纳路德维希基金会当代艺术博物馆、中国美术馆、上海美术馆、陕西省美术博物馆、广东美术馆共同承办,将在中国的上海(2005年4月22日-5月31日),北京(2005年6月10日-7月18日)、西安(2005年7月28日-9月5日)、广州(2005年9月16日-10月23日)四城市巡回展览。中奥双方对这个展览十分重视,2004年4月12日到19日,中方四位馆长在这次画展的倡议者魏勒夫人、奥中文化交流促进会会长金玲女士和奥方策展人维也纳路德维希基金会的当代
The Austrian New Abstract Painting Exhibition is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Federal Chancellery of Austria and co-organized by the Contemporary Art Museum of Vienna Ludwig Foundation, the China Art Museum, the Shanghai Art Museum, the Shaanxi Provincial Art Museum and the Guangdong Art Museum Undertaking will be held in Shanghai, China (April 22 to May 31, 2005), Beijing (June 10 to July 18, 2005), Xi’an (July 28 to September 5, 2005) , Guangzhou (September 16, 2005 - October 23) four city roving exhibition.
