中国科学院测量与地球物理研究所坐落在美丽的东湖之滨,是中科院唯一从事大地测量学研究的研究所,主要利用高精度的地面和空间测量技术研究地球整体与局部运动及其动力学机制,在国内地学界以学科精于、方向明确独树一帜,在国际大地测量学研究领域中占据一席之地。许厚泽院士曾任两届国际地潮委员会主席、两届国际重力委员会副主席等职务。测地所已整体进入中科院创新工程行列,拥有一支以中青年为骨干的创新队伍。

Academician Xu Houze served two sessions as chair of International Tide Tide Committee and two vice-chairmen of International Gravity Committee. The geodetic institute has entered the ranks of innovation projects of Chinese Academy of Sciences as a whole, and has an innovation team with middle-aged and young people as its backbone.
