低水头、大流量排涝泵站的流量测定一直是水利工程建设中较难解决的技术问题。该类泵站,由于进、出水流道短,又都为渐变的曲面,管道内流态变化大,很难用管道式流量计来直接测定流量(一般要求管道测流至少要有5至10倍直径以上的直管段)。以往多采用在进水流道口设置点阵式流速仪测流、体积比重法测流或出水河渠内设置量水堰测流等方法。这些方法,不仅精度较低,而且测流费用和设备费用都较高,很难在长期运行中同步量测。
