对柴油机排气限制的规定将一年比一年严格。为了符合这些规定特别是美国1994年EPA 的规定,采用带中冷的增压措施以增加空气量,减少冒黑烟和排烟颗粒物是必不可少的了。虽然这些措施对1000r/min 以上的柴油机是有效的,但是由于增压器本身性能上的缺陷,柴油机在1000r/min 以下的低工况区时空气量仍感不足。另一方面,容积式压气机在柴油机的整个转速范围内可以产生理论上的恒定的增压压力,因此把这一种增压手段结合起来可开发出一种高性能的增压系统。这就是“哈布里多”增压系统,它可以明显地改善排烟状况、燃油消耗率、轴的扭矩和加速时的响应特性。
The regulations on diesel exhaust restrictions will be strict year by year.
