目前生产上把提高亩穗数作为小麦增产途径,由于群体密度大,群本发育与个体发育之间的矛盾难以协调。不同品种有不同的特点,根系分布、株型、叶型以及对环境条件的反应都不尽相同,如果把不同品种的特点有机地结合起来,可使群体与个体之间的关系得到协调。 1984年,美国人Allan.J.ciha和Gordon.Rubehthaler报道,春小麦品种混播,出粉率、蛋白质含量、面团性状、烘烤性及抗病性等方面都优于播种单一品种。我们的试验目的,是想通过品种混播,发挥群体效应,提高小麦产量。
