阐述了电子控制燃油喷射系统的工作原理，介绍了共轨（CommolRail）式电控喷射系统的工作过程与特性，介绍了国外机车柴油机采用电控喷射系统的概况。指出，从提高柴油机经济性和减少排放，以及从内燃机车产品赶超世界先进水平的需要出发，引进电控燃油喷射技术是完全必要的。
The working principle of the electronically controlled fuel injection system is described. The working process and characteristics of the CommolRail injection system are introduced. The general situation of the diesel locomotive adopting the electronically controlled injection system is introduced. It points out that the introduction of electronically controlled fuel injection technology is absolutely necessary to improve diesel economy and reduce emissions, as well as to meet the world advanced requirements of diesel locomotive products.
