中印(尼)两国人民有着深厚而悠久的友好关系。这种友好关系的主要缔造者是长期居留在印度尼西亚的华侨。数百年来,华侨和印度尼西亚人民一道披荆斩棘,开发这个国家,并且还把祖国的优秀文化传统及先进的生产技术传过去,对印度尼西亚的社会经济发展作了伟大的貢献;华侨又是印度尼西亚人民在反对帝国主义侵略斗争中的亲密战友。这些都是众所周知的事实。但是,去年底以来,印度尼西亚一小撮有势力集团竟在美帝国主义的唆使下,不顾国内外舆论的谴责,掀起一股排华的逆流。排华的后果是破坏不了中印(尼)人民的友谊,但相反却使印度尼西亚的经济情况越来越恶化。印度尼西亚人民是坚决反对排华活动的。因为这违反整个印度尼西亚的根本利益。这一期,我们选登了三篇有关印度尼西亚有势力集团排华问题的文章供读者参考。特别值得一提的是“华侨对印度尼西亚发展的貢献”一文。今年6月23号,“人民日报”介绍了印度尼西亚著名作家阿南达·托尔的著作“在印度尼西亚的华侨”(雅加达,1960年3月出版)。本书作者以真正印度尼西亚人的声音,严正地谴责排华活动,以洋溢的感情畅谈华侨与印度尼西亚人民的友谊以及华侨对印度尼西亚社会发展的貢献。这对于有势力集团搞排华活动所持的巅倒是非的谬论“华侨是第五纵队”。“华侨经济是殖民主义经济残余”,是个很好的驳斥。而且,从这里可以看出有势力集团的伎俩是如何地无耻。现在我们发表该书第六章,即“华侨对印度尼西亚发展的貢献”,以后将继续发表其他一些章节。此外,配合这个专輯,我们发表了四篇有关印度尼西亚财政和历史的文章。
The peoples of China and India have profound and long-standing friendly relations. The main creator of this friendly relationship is an overseas Chinese who has long resided in Indonesia. For hundreds of years, overseas Chinese and Indonesian people, together with the people of Indonesia, have made every effort to exploit this country, and have also passed on the excellent cultural traditions of the motherland and advanced production technologies to make great contribution to the social and economic development of Indonesia. The overseas Chinese are also the people of Indonesia Close comrade in arms against imperialist aggression. These are all well-known facts. However, since the end of last year, a handful of influential groups in Indonesia have set off an anti-China anti-Chinese wave at the instigation of the U.S. imperialists despite the accusations of public opinion at home and abroad. During this period, we have selected three articles for reference of readers for the issue of the anti-Chinese issue of the influential groups in Indonesia. What deserves special mention is the article entitled “Contribution of overseas Chinese to the development of Indonesia.” On June 23 this year, “People’s Daily” introduced the book “Overseas Chinese in Indonesia” written by Ananda Toll, a famous Indonesian writer (Jakarta, March 1960). In a truly Indonesian voice, the author of this book solemnly condemned the Chinese Exclusion Campaign and spoke with emotion in the friendship between the overseas Chinese and the Indonesian people and the contribution made by overseas Chinese to the social development in Indonesia. This is the fallacy that the influential clique holds the top-down fallacy of the Chinese exclusion activities. “Overseas Chinese are the fifth column.” “The overseas Chinese economy is a remnant of the colonialist economy” is a very good refutation. Moreover, from here you can see how the shameful group tricks are shameless. Now we publish the sixth chapter of the book, “The Overseas Contribution to Indonesia’s Development” and will continue to publish some other chapters later.
