SS_3型电力机车经过鉴定性试验及机车运行考核后,于一九八二年由铁道部科技局、机务局、工业总局、计统局主持进行了技术鉴定。鉴定时对该型机车提出了九条主要改进意见。据此,于一九八三年进行了机车样车的改造、完善工作,并于同年七月赴北京环行道作有关试验,一九八四年二月六日至三月三十一日进行了牵引性能补充试验。此外,一九八三年完成了SS_3002、SS_3003两台机车的扩大试制,又于八四年生产了SS_3004～SS_3006三台机车,从一九八五年起小批生产15台,一九八六年小批生产21台(其中SS_3022机车为单边传动机车),今年批量生产30台。在SS_3型电力机车技术鉴定后制造的这
