我们在童年时,经常想入非非,欲望也有限,因而最不易被意志所撩动。这样,我们真实本性的绝大部分都被认知所占据。我们的智慧虽然未成熟,但跟要到七岁左右才定型的大脑一样,它的发育是相当早的。它在生存的整个世界中不倦地寻求滋补,而这个世界那时还年轻、新鲜,万物都散发出天真烂漫的气息,结果使我们的童年岁月宛如一首无尽延伸的诗。因为诗歌作为艺术之灵,它的根本性质就在于在万物的个体性中领
When we were in childhood, we often entertained the world and we had a limited desire. Therefore, we were most vulnerable to the will. In this way, the vast majority of our true nature is occupied by cognition. Although our wisdom is immature, its development is quite early, just like the brains that are shaped until about seven years old. It tirelessly seeks nourishment in the whole world of existence, and the world was young and fresh at the time, and all things were exuding a naivete, leaving us with childhood as an endless stretch of poetry.
