本文是对温州医科大学和美国太平洋大学联合进行实时网络教研项目第一期定性实证研究的报告,旨在探析成功开展“跨太平洋网络实时课堂”(下简称TPIC实时课堂)所用教学方法的可行性及其特点。为此,中美教师在教学过程中探索和使用了“讲练交互式教学法”。中国教师分析该方法有效性的语料主要包括:中国教师对TPIC实时课堂内外的观察和总结,中美教师对每次教学情况的交流邮件,中国学生在美国大学电子公告牌系统(BBS学习系统)上的发帖情况概述,对TPIC课程学生的调查和期末口语测试。定性分析结果表明“讲练交互式教学法”具有交互四特点:实时课堂交互的主导性,以讲促学、以讲促练的交互多向性,跨文化交流的多面性和概念交互的有效性。该教学方法有助于中外合作利用网络技术开展外语教学。
This is the first report of a qualitative and empirical study on the real-time network teaching and research project of Wenzhou Medical University and the American Pacific University. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the teaching methods used in the successful “Trans-Pacific Internet Real-Time Classroom” (TPIC) Feasibility and its characteristics. For this reason, Chinese and American teachers have explored and used “teaching interactive teaching methods” during the teaching process. Chinese teachers analyze the effectiveness of the method of the corpus mainly include: Chinese teachers in and outside of TPIC real-time classroom observation and summary of Sino-American teachers for each teaching and exchange of mail, Chinese students in the United States Bulletin Board System (BBS learning system) On the posting of an overview of TPIC students survey and the final oral test. The results of qualitative analysis show that Interactive Teaching Methodology has four characteristics of interaction: the dominant interaction in real-time classroom teaching, the interaction between multi-orientation, intercultural communication and conceptual interaction Effectiveness. This teaching method helps Chinese-foreign cooperation to use network technology to carry out foreign language teaching.
