热地书记:1998年12月3日,中国天年雅鲁藏布大峡谷科学探险考察队历经37天的艰苦拼搏,终于圆满完成了首次全程徒步穿越雅鲁藏布大峡谷地段的科考任务,取得了丰硕的科研成果。通过考察,我们进一步科学确认了雅鲁藏布大峡谷是世界上最长最深和最壮丽的第一大峡谷,同时也再次证实该峡谷是世界山地生物多样性最重要的分化与分布中心。我们深信:雅鲁藏布大峡谷作为多种自然资源的珍贵宝库,必将对西藏自治区的社会经济发展做出重大贡献。
