从2010年的“7·29”讲话始,山西在转型跨越的一年间,经济社会发展呈现出蓬勃旺盛的发展势头。居太原市城市中心的杏花岭区,更是太原率先转型跨越发展的排头兵。立足于本地区的产业基础和区位优势,杏花岭区委、区政府将发展重点确定在推进绿色转型、转变经济发展方式、加速现代服务业发展上。今年来,一批批项目落地生根。东山生态园工程破土动工,长沟、东坪、窑头、西岭沿线绿化以及长沟村8500平方米高科技节能温室、杨家峪村180亩大型花卉交易市场、小返乡1000亩连片葡萄园正在积聚着日渐旺盛的人气。杏花岭区在转变发展方式、抓好东山生态建设、强化城市建设管理、完善社区功能、着力改善民生等方面下足了功夫。现刊登杏花岭区委书记魏民在2011年6月中国共产党太原市杏花岭区第四次代表大会上的报告摘要,看杏花岭区如何为实现“绿色聚宝盆”而努力。
