举办地一波三折幸运之神降临卡塔尔 考虑到非洲尤其是尼日利亚近几年来足球运动的飞速发展和技术水平的迅速提高,国际足联原决定把’95世青赛安排在尼日利亚举行。此后,尼日利亚政府和足协为把这届世界性赛事办得有声有色,万众一心,举国关注。据说,为修缮场馆、改建公路和完善通讯设施,耗资总额达7500万美元。 1994年12月8日,该届赛事的抽签仪式在尼日利亚的阿布贾市顺利举行。抽签停当,各参赛队皆大欢喜。根据国际足联的安排,该届世青赛决赛阶段的比赛定于1995年3月11日至26日举行。预赛(分组赛)选定的四个城市为拉各斯、伊巴丹、卡杜纳和埃努古。
