叶圣陶儿童文学教育应用的观念、策略及方式是开放的,多元的,其所从事的儿童文学教育活动体现了现代进步的儿童文学观与儿童教育观。叶圣陶按照不同学段所编写的系列国语课本,可以看作早期儿童文学教育应用与分级阅读在中国的先行实验和尝试。不论是儿童文学创作,还是早年具体的教育实践,抑或是后来所从事的儿童读物与国语课本的编辑出版工作,叶圣陶都非常注重引导儿童从文本到生活、从文本到社会的引导教育。
Ye Shengtao’s ideas, tactics and methods for the application of children’s literature education are open and pluralistic. His activities in children’s literature education embody the modern progress of children’s literature and children’s education. Ye Shengtao’s series of Chinese-language textbooks compiled according to different periods can be regarded as the first experiments and attempts of early childhood literature education application and graduation reading in China. Whether it is children’s literature creation, early years specific educational practice, or later editing and publishing of children’s books and Chinese textbooks, Ye Shengtao pays great attention to guiding children’s guidance education from texts to daily life and texts to the society.
