The situation of spontaneous combustion in the steep-inclined and extremely thick coal seam along the S1101 working face in Yanbei Coal Mine is introduced. The fire prevention and extinguishing measures under this condition are discussed, and the measures and technologies for preventing and extinguishing are put forward, and good results are obtained .
