本省各机关各人民团体,从五月初旬起,响应中国保卫和平大会委员会的号召,发动保卫和平禁刖原子武器的签名运动。到目前据初步统计,全省已有三十个县市广泛开展了和平签名运动,参加签名者已达一百二十余万人。这种行动显示了我们福建人民的反对侵略战争,爱好和平,渴望和平,以实际行动来保卫和平的决心。但反对侵略战争拥护和平的签名运动,在边沿城镇和广大农村,尚未普遍开展;目前美帝国主义正在朝鲜和我国台湾进行武装侵略,我们必须唤起广大人民,击败美帝国主义者侵略暴行,收复台湾,保卫中国的独立自由和民主,保卫远东和世界的和平。
Starting from early May, responding to the call of the Committee on China’s Peace Corps, various people’s organizations of various organs and agencies of the province have launched a signature campaign to defend peace and ban atomic weapons.
