农五师垦区防护和用材林在采用林木良种的基础上,实行集约化的经营管理,对材木进行合理施肥管理,1—3年生的幼林,每年追肥1—2次,氮肥100—200克,生长季节灌水4—6次,及时松土除草和防治病虫害,合理修枝和间伐,防止牲畜啃食践踏。保证年平均生长量树高达2米以上,胸径2厘米以上,实现林木优质速生和丰产。决不允许只顾眼前利益,把主要精力放在间种或其它多种经营上,放弃林木管理。
