Fuquan City is located in the central part of Guizhou Province and has jurisdiction over 7 towns, 9 townships, 174 administrative villages and 2,363 villagers’ groups. By the end of 1996, the city’s total population was 282,106, of which the agricultural population accounted for more than 90% of the total population. Ethnic minorities accounted for 23.86%, and the city’s gross national product was 680 million yuan. :】The average income is 1148 yuan, the birth rate of human H is 19.5, the death rate is 6.06%, and the natural growth rate is 13.4 cans.
