头颈部淋巴结是身体防御系统的一部份,常可提示身体其他部位的病变。因口腔和口周病变常导致淋巴结改变,故牙科医师对头颈部淋巴结应常规地检查与评价,当有淋巴结异常时,则应寻找其病因。
Head and neck lymph nodes are part of the body’s defense system and can often indicate changes in other parts of the body. Because the oral and perioral lesions often lead to changes in lymph nodes, the dentist should routinely examine and evaluate lymph nodes in the head and neck. When there are lymph node abnormalities, the etiology should be sought.
