在一个宿主的单个或多个器官上同时或不同时间发生的二个以上的恶性肿瘤,称为多原发性恶性肿瘤。习惯称之为“重复癌”(Double Cancers),多个者称为“多癌”(Multiple Cancers)。全称叫 Multiple Primary MalignantTumors(MPMT)。多原发癌和转移癌及复发癌有本质的不同,治疗原则有根本的区别,所以及时而正确地作出多原发癌的诊断,对治疗及预后有重要意义。我院外科自1975年6月至1979年12月
Two or more malignancies that occur at the same time or different times on a single or multiple organs in a host are called multiple primary malignancies. Dubbed “Double Cancers”, many are called “Multiple Cancers.” The full name is Multiple Primary MalignantTumors (MPMT). There are essential differences between multiple primary and metastatic cancers and recurrent cancers, and there are fundamental differences in treatment principles.
