土的双电层结构对其力学性质有一定的影响,这已为大家所熟悉。N. Street测定了高岭土悬液的ζ-电位,用这些数据对其力学性质作了分析,还有很多研究者也应用了双电层的特性来解释土的力学特性。伹他们大多没有直接测量土(适用于工程的)的ζ-电位。而是从胶体化学的观点出发,作了一些推测性的讨论。不过也有少数研究者作了这个工作,如E.Penner,但他是用电渗法来测定土的ζ-电位的。本文采用流动电位法测土的ζ-电位。
The double layer structure of soil has a certain influence on its mechanical properties, which is already familiar to everyone. N. Street measured the zeta-potential of the kaolin suspension. The mechanical properties were analyzed using these data. Many researchers also applied the characteristics of the double layer to explain the mechanical properties of the soil. Most of them do not directly measure the ζ-potential of earth (for engineering). Instead, some speculative discussions were made from the standpoint of colloid chemistry. However, there are also a few researchers who have done this work, such as E. Penner, but he used electroosmosis to determine the earth’s potential. In this paper, the ζ-potential of the soil is measured by the potentiometric method.
