In 2013, the Standing Committee of the Lhasa People’s Congress focused on the overall work of the city and firmly held the theme of “common development of all ethnic groups in unity, common prosperity and development” and kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
