现代远程教育是实现西部教育跨越式发展的一个重要途径，其关键是建立适合少数民族和边远地区的远程教育模式。本文从我国西部地区的实际情况出发，结合现代远程教育发展的客观规律和教育模式，提出了一些值得进一步研究的课题。
Modern distance education is an important way to achieve the leapfrog development of western education. The key is to establish a distance education mode suitable for ethnic minorities and remote areas. Based on the actual conditions in western China and combining with the objective laws and educational modes of the development of modern distance education, this paper puts forward some topics that deserve further study.
