Gyllostemma pentaphylla Makina contains the same and similar gypenoside components as ginsenosides. There have been many reports on the efficacy and treatment of Gynostemma pentaphyllum, but no literature on the determination of Gynostemma pentaphyllum has been found. We used the ARL-3520 sequential scanning inductively coupled plasma spectrometer manufactured by the American Experimental Company to determine the inorganic trace elements of the G. pentaphylla plants on the samples A (Guangzuo Chongzuo) and B (Guangxi Daxin). The specific method is: the ground part of the dried Gynostemma plant is washed with distilled water and dried; it is crushed and sucked with a small grinder.
