在今年五月由宁海县农委、科委主持召开的小麦扬麦四号引种与推广评审会上,到会的有关农业专家和农业科技人员,一致反映小麦扬麦四号与全省推广的“908”当家品种相比,有许多优点,因此有推广价值。小麦扬麦四号,原名9—10—8—3。是宁海县小麦引种选育协作组于一九七九年从扬州引进的新品种,经四年来在全县多点品种和大区对比试验,与全省推广的908当家品种相比,具有穗大粒重,抗倒抗病,早熟高产等特点,是一个适应于稻田三熟制和棉田套种的优良小麦品种。小麦扬麦四号的主要特征特性表现为:
