安丰塘号称“神州第一塘”,为春秋时期楚相孙叔敖征集民力所建,现属淠史杭灌区中型反调节水库,灌溉农田99万亩,受益人口60万,是安徽省寿县人民的“当家塘”。安丰塘自1974年进行一次整修后已运行20多年,堤坝冲刷损毁严重,加之灌区水稻种植面积不断扩增、用水量加大,寿县县委、县政府决定实施“五个二工程”,即投资2000万元,完成土方200万方,浇筑混凝土2万方,植树20万株,增加蓄水量2000万方。工程分两期进行,去冬实施一期工程,发动14个乡镇10万人上阵,对水库引水渠——淠东干渠清淤加固,工程安排30天,计划工程量150万方。
