为了迎接廣西僮族自治区成立(3月5日),“廣西僮族自治区經济文化展覽館”于3月3日下午4时在南寧市民主路隆重的正式展出了。內有工曠館、農業畜牧館、土特產館……等13个館,蜜蜂館是其中組成部份之一(系農業畜牧館的分館之一)。蜜蜂館设置在既經济且又布置得滿秀丽不算太大的三间房子里。从正面看去,举目可見深、淺蘋果绿及深綠油漆鮮明的蜂具抬前额;抬上边垫着天藍色帶花的紙,再上边和左右陈列了42种144件蜂具,及13只标本瓶。后牆上挂着三塊大小適宜却又异常美丽的圖表。房前面是500多平方公尺的方形草坪——蜂群展覽場。中間是富有蜜源的花壇及潔白色卵石铺成的人行道。还有桉、棕、香樵、針叶柏樹等綴植在四周。蜜蜂在南國冬季盛开的“茼蒿”菜上飛舞,以它的辛勤劳动來欢迎观众。
